Getting Started

Step 1: Book a free consultation with Bree
We will meet in a local public space where we'll get to know one another, discuss your goals for music lessons, establish your custom to-do list to getting started, and set a start date.
For online lessons, we'll have a video call, unless you'd like to meet in person too.
 

Step 2: Acquire Instrument, Equipment, and Workbooks
​You will be emailed specific links to everything you need after the consultation.

Step 3: Submit your response to
Bree's Policy Agreement


Step 4: Establish your learning environment
At the very least we'll need two seats next to each other and an auditory environment fit for focus. 
If you're taking online lessons, establish your equipment set up.


Step 5: Establish a personal condition built for success
Our brains don't retain information if our bodies are not adequately nurtured and regulated in a calm state. Fortunately music helps one's personal condition in the long run, I just want to make sure my students are available to learn so that the learning experience remains a positive one.
I don't assign homework, my only expectation is that you remain dedicated to your craft to the best of your ability.


Step 6: Attend weekly lessons!
I charge month to month solely for scheduling purposes. Every one of my students gets a custom lesson plan that's based on their specific goals. The duration that you're enrolled in lessons is up to you. Everyone learns at a different pace so I can't quantify an expectation. All I ask is that I get a 30 day notice prior to the first lesson of your last month.
Some people stay for a few months, some stay for a few years. I am grateful for every minute I get to share the joy and benefits music provides for us.
